Natural Minded ≠ Natural Only

Hi, I’m Eryn! Wife, mom of three, former lawyer, and the heart behind The Natural Minded Momma.

My journey toward a low-tox lifestyle didn’t begin with motherhood, but with a jolt in my early twenties when my mom, an ER nurse, experienced a vaccine injury. That experience cracked open everything I thought I knew and sent me down a path of unlearning, relearning, and questioning the “normal” way of doing things.

Years later, when my husband and I started dreaming about a family, that curiosity only deepened. Suddenly, we were uncovering truths about birth, food, and everyday products that left us wide-eyed. I realized how much of what’s on the grocery store shelves isn’t even real food, how many baby products are filled with toxins, and how disconnected we’ve become from the simple, natural rhythms God designed for us.

When I became a mom, I felt a deep pull to share what I’d learned — not from a place of fear or perfection, but from a place of honesty, faith, and empowerment. My heartbeat is to create a safe space for other women to explore low-tox living, natural motherhood, and faith in a way that feels doable, grace-filled, and life-giving.

“I don’t believe in rigid rules or shame. I believe in asking questions when something doesn’t sit right. I believe in showing up for your family with courage. And I believe in embracing the grey — the messy middle where natural meets conventional and where faith meets doubt.”

About Me

Faith: I’m a born-again Christian who believes God’s grace is the foundation for everything I do.

How I Met My Husband: We first crossed paths at a college mixer. He had been deployed to Iraq, which delayed his graduation, and if not for that, we might have never met. After years of missed connections (and me ignoring his messages, oops), I finally agreed to a date — and the rest is history.

Where I’m From: I grew up just south of Atlanta on a mini-farm with goats, ducks, chickens, horses, a pig, and more.

Work Before Instagram: I practiced in intellectual property and software law before trading in suits for leggings, a laptop, and barn boots.

My Vibe: I’m not your stereotypical trad-wife or barefoot-in-the-garden crunchy mom. I’m the girl in fake lashes, Lulu leggings, and leopard print barn boots feeding cows at sunrise. I bring softness, femininity, and modernity into the holistic space — cozy leggings over prairie dresses, always. I’m a big introvert who values depth over noise, I hate talking on camera (lol), and my late pup Luka (a perfectly dainty Papillon) will always have a piece of my heart. My home is French country meets Bridgerton — elegant, timeless, and cozy, with that refined feminine touch. Yes, I live on land and we’re building a homestead, but it doesn’t look like the curated Instagram version of “crunchy.”

I believe something as life-giving as low-tox living should never feel heavy or suffocating. If fear and guilt are louder than peace and grace, we’ve missed the point.

Grace-Filled Resources for

low tox living

I believe every woman deserves access to information that empowers her, encouragement that meets her in the messy middle, and reminders that she’s not alone.

This isn’t about being perfectly “crunchy.” It’s about giving yourself permission to live with intention, ask the hard questions, and trust God’s leading — one small step at a time.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Around here, it’s not about being perfectly crunchy, it’s about being natural minded, not natural only.

We do Chick-fil-A on Fridays, Costco runs for organic staples on Saturdays, and yes, I’ll avoid seed oils in my own kitchen but still scarf down chips and queso at a Mexican restaurant with you.

Because this isn’t about extremes — it’s about balance, grace, and living in the real world.

Whether you’re Googling ingredients during nap time, trying to figure out where God fits into this season, or just looking for someone who gets it, you’re in the right place.
